My 100 day challenge started February 1st 2012, where I aim to complete over 25,000 burpees, committing to doing burpees everyday from 1st February until Thursday 10th May 2012.
I am doing this to show everyone the power of what happens when you stick to a goal and what you can achieve if you do so, even when the goal is ugly, long and tough. As I always say, anything is possible, most things we call impossible, are normally things untried.
So please do ask me at any point from now until May 10th how many burpees I've done that day or week, you can keep me to it. If you ask nice enough I may even do a few burpees for you!
Progress:
First 5 days: "I've completed 1240 burpees so far over the first five days, so just under the average of 250 per day requirement, but getting fitter and faster, having a lot of fun! My goal for February is 6000 burpees as you can see below, but going to beat that easy!"

First 19 days: "I've done around 4,300 burpees over the first 19 days. They are defiantly getting easier and easier everytime. The most I've done in one session is 400 which took me 19 minutes 55 seconds."

First 29 days: "I'm very happy to say that I completed the 6000 burpees set out for me in February, just to come into March to see an even juicier goal! Burpees are feeling a lot easier all ready, averaging sets of 30-40 non-stop, and doing 100 within 2 minutes 42 seconds. Let's see what March brings.."

44 days in: "I've made a milestone and completed my first 10,000 burpees. Biggest session I've done so far is 430, but aiming for a set of 600+ today. Absolutely loving them!"

Just so you know, that is 6000 which I completed in February, plus 4000 which I have completed so far this month.
Half way there: "With 50 days down, 50 to go, things are looking good. I completed 6000 in my first 29 days, and in the lastest 21 days I've completed 5,900, so my I'm doing more and more everyday, and keep on improving. My longest set is 516 non-stop which took me 30 minutes, and I loved every second.."

Plus the 6000 completed in February
70 days complete: "Having done burpees every day to date I am definitely feeling the benefits from it, finding it a lot easier to keep going and going. To date I've completed 17,640 (give or take 130). This is the first time I've been in front of my target of 250 a day, 140 burpees in front to be exact. Now I have re-set my target to at least get 30,000 burpees if not more in my 100 days. These last 30 days are going to be tough, but also very rewarding! Love my burpees!"
I completed 6,000 In February, 9,000 in March and 2,640 so far in April. The biggest set I've done non-stop is 1,040 on the 9th April in 60 minutes.
95 days complete: "With 5 days to go I have passed my goal of 25,000 having completed my 25,036th today. The biggest day of burpees I've had so far consisted of 1,420 which took me around about 90 minutes. The longes set I've done non-stop consisted of 100 burpees which took me about 150 seconds. I definitely feel a lot lot fitter than I did 95 days ago. Committing to something tough but rewarding is so good for you in so many ways!
