Run with Limit Zero

  

One run can change your day, many runs can change your life!

 

We have a real interest in helping people become better off through running. Whether your new to it or have run for a long time, we can help you to progress further and faster. Running is not only proven to lift your mood, but also increase your fitness and can have a decent impact on weight loss too. It's a wonderful exercise!

 

We hold a group running class every week at 6:00pm on Wednesdays.

Plus a Sunday sessions close to the hills once a month. 

All details of sessions below, come join us! 

 

We aim to cater for everybody, whether you have never run before or done it for years our group sessions will help you learn and/or advance. To help you out we will detail all of our running sessions in advance right here so you can see what is coming, as below. 

 

 

Sunday 25th November 2018, Harry Ell track, hill running:

Session to start at the Sign of the Takahe at 2:00pm

This 9.5km run or walk up and down the Harry Ell track is suitable for any running/walking level, so feel free to come along and join me for a fun run away!
As it's getting warmer, make sure you're prepared for 1,5hrs of activity, bring some hydration if you think you'll need it. 

 

 

Wednesday 28th November 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 6:00pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 15s > 45s rest, 20s > 40s rest, 25s >35s rest, 30s > 30sec rest, 35s > 25s rest, 40s > 20s, 45s > 15s rest, 50s > 10s rest, 55s > 65s rest before going all the way back to a 15s sprint with the same rest times
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time around 30mins.

 

 

Parkrun Saturday 1st December:

Run starts in Hagley Park at 8:00am

This FREE 5km run takes place every Saturday in North Hagley Park, make sure you've registered online and got your barcode printed with you at the start.
Join me after the run for a coffee at the boatshed, if you like!

Wednesday 5th December 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 6:00pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 20sec fast, jogging (or walking) back to the start x12
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time around 30mins.

 

 

Wednesday 12th November 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 6:00pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 15s > 45s rest, 20s > 40s rest, 25s >35s rest, 30s > 30sec rest, 35s > 25s rest, 40s > 20s, 45s > 15s rest, 50s > 10s rest, 55s > 65s rest before going all the way back to a 15s sprint with the same rest times
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time around 30mins.

 

 

Future running events at Limit Zero  

 

Alongside the group sessions above we have a couple of other events coming up this year and into 2019, as below. 

 

  • The Powerade challenge is still going till Sunday the 2nd of December 
    Join the Limit Zero Powerade Challenge team, or go for it by yourself. This 7.5km free and fun run can be done at any time between 7:00am and 7:00pm and starts at the Parking of the Hagley Cricket Oval in South Hagley Park.

  • Limit Zero's St Clair adventure 2019 - at the moment we have 30 spots reserved for the
