Run with Limit Zero

  

One run can change your day, many runs can change your life!

 

We have a real interest in helping people become better off through running. Whether your new to it or have run for a long time, we can help you to progress further and faster. Running is not only proven to lift your mood, but also increase your fitness and can have a decent impact on weight loss too. It's a wonderful exercise!

 

We hold a group running class every week at 5:30pm on Wednesdays.

**From Wednesday 18th July this group running class will start every Wednesday at 6:00pm.

Plus a Sunday sessions close to the hills once a month. 

All details of sessions below, come join us! 

 

We aim to cater for everybody, whether you have never run before or done it for years our group sessions will help you learn and/or advance. To help you out we will detail all of our running sessions in advance right here so you can see what is coming, as below. 

 

 

Wednesday 11th July 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 5:30pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 50 seconds on (fast pace), 40 seconds off (slow pace, which can be walking if need be) x12 sets non-stop.
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time of 28mins.

 

 

Sunday 15th July 2018:

Session to start at Somerfield Park, on the corner of Studholme Street at 2:00pm

  • 1.3km jog / walk warm up 
  • Uphill repeats - number of repeats to be decided by Nory on a personal basis.You will run/walk up Merlewood Ave, down Merlewood Ave, up St Vincent Tce and down St Vincent Tce.
  • 1.3km jog / walk warm down
  • Stretch 

Total time of 30 - 45 minutes.

 

 

 Wednesday 18th July 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 6:00pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 1:10min on (fast pace), 1min off (slow pace, which can be walking if need be) x10 sets non-stop.
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time of 32mins.

 

 

Wednesday 25th July 2018:

Session to start at Limit Zero at 6:00pm

  • 5-minutes warming up
  • Intervals: 30 seconds on (fast pace), 1min off (slow pace, which can be walking if need be) x15 sets non-stop.
  • 5-minute cool down

Total time of 32:30mins.

 

 

Sunday 29th July 2018:

Future running events at Limit Zero  

 

Alongside the group sessions above we have a couple of other events coming up this year and into 2019, as below.

 

  • Limit Zero 'fun run' either 5km or 10km option to walk/run with our trainers out there helping you / doing it with you. This is scheduled for 9:30am on Saturday 15th September 2018 and open to all LZ clients to give themselves a wee test or any friends or family who want to join in.   • Limit Zero's Queenstown adventure 2018 - together as a team Limit Zero is going down to Queenstown on the weekend of Friday 16th November - Sunday 18th November 2018 to take part in the Queenstown marathon on the Saturday 17th November. Options are either a 10km, half marathon or full marathon run/walk. We currently have 28 people coming with us and have a few spots left available. If you were interested in coming with Limit Zero let us know and we will give you all the details.

 

  • Limit Zero's St Clair adventure 2019... at the moment we have 30 spots reserved for the St Clair half marathon on Saturday 11th May 2019 and we are currently building an all inclusive package to go alongside this for another Limit Zero adventure. More details to come in the following months.
