Run with Limit Zero

Every second Saturday at 9:00am 

Join us every second Saturday for a fitness thrill in the hills.

This running program will have a focus on taking on some different challenges in the hills. Whether you walk, run, jog or crawl these routines will have a huge benefit towards improving your overall fitness and well-being particularly for walking or running. Whether you are looking to build endurance, become a runner, build your running or just get out with friends there's definitely something for you here. Applicable for all fitness levels and will all be monitored by trainers all the time. See all dates, meeting places and details listed below.

Meeting at St Martins school for a 1.8km hill loop that includes the famous St Martin's steps. The 1.8km is roughly split up as a 400m steep incline, 700m downhill and 700m on the flat. We will set up from 9:00am for 90-minutes to do as many loops as you like. You can leave earlier than that or stay later. Applicable for all running levels, whether you are just starting or are training for your next event.

Limit Zero's own run / walk event - pick from 5km, 11km or 22km - meet at Limit Zero at your scheduled time, where we then drive you to your start line and from there you make your way back to the Limit Zero driveway finish line. Earliest start is 9:00am. We will then hold a BBQ for all members afterwards. Cost of $15 for 5km, $20 for 11km or $25 for 22km. Meeting on the corner of Hackthorne Road & Cashmere Road for a 3.9kmh hill loop that includes the good ol' Hackthorne Road climb, then down Dyers Pass Road and along Cashmere Road. The same loop as we did on the 24th July. We will set up from 9:00am for 90-minutes to do as many loops as you like / can. You can leave earlier than that or stay later. See if you can outdo what you did a few months ago.

Meeting at the top of Farmers track on the Summit Road. Drive up Dyers Pass Road to the Sign of the Kiwi, take a left onto the Summit Road and drive down there for 5-minutes or so until you see the Limit Zero Truck. From here we are going to run / walk along the Summit Road (which is closed for the majority) for 30 - 45 minutes before turning around and coming back. A maximum of 90-minutes, but how much you do is up to you. Assuming good weather you will get some great views over the city, on to the Mountains and over the ocean. We will set up from 9:00am. Applicable for all walking and running levels - just go your pace.

We do intend on adding to this schedule going forward, but we have Limit Zero's 24-hour challenge on Friday 5th & Saturday 6th November + the Queenstown Marathon on Saturday 20th November 2021. These LZ adventures will continue from late November / early December 2021. We will update this page accordingly.
