HYROX

Hyrox simulation event at Limit Zero

Limit Zero is now a Hyrox affiliated gym. Hyrox is the fitness sport that has been growing like wildfire across the world since 2017.

The next event closest to us is in Auckland at the end of January 2026. After personally having competed in 4 of these events I can honestly say it's the coolest fitness event I've ever been part of, and although hard it is very inclusive of anyone at any age.

On Saturday 27th September 2025 we are giving you an opportunity to trial Hyrox to a slightly lesser extent with our simulation event. Compete as an individual, with a partner, or a relay team of 4 and get a feel for what Hyrox is like.

HYROX @ LZ:

  1. Run / walk 500m
  2. SKIERG 1,000m
  3. Run / walk 500m
  4. Dynamic treadmill (sled push) 250m
  5. Run / walk 500m
  6. Sled pull 75kg (females) / 105kg (males) 50m total
  7. Run / walk 500m
  8. CTG burpee broad jump x 50 reps
  9. Run / walk 500m
  10. Rowing 1,000m
  11. Run / walk 500m
  12. Farmers carry 16kg KB's (females) / 24kg KB's (males) 200m
  13. Run / walk 500m
  14. Walking lunges 10kg (females) / 20kg (males) for 100m
  15. Run / walk 500m
  16. Wall balls 4kg (females) / 6kg (males) x 100 reps total

There is no time limit on how long it may take you. There are also limited options to bike 1.5km each time instead of the runs. The difference from Hyrox to this is that you run 1,000m each time, instead of 500m and instead of the dynamic treadmill you do a 50m heavy sled push.

In a doubles team you run or walk each 500m running component together side by side and then you can share the distance or reps on each of the stations in between.

In a relay team of 4 - 1 person does 1 of the runs and 1 of the stations back to back, before tagging another team mate in. You all then do that 2x round each to make up the 8 different runs and stations.

PRICING:

  • Individual event = $65
  • Doubles event = $95 ($47.50 each)
  • Relay event = $125 ($31.25 each)
